Nans and Mouts met in engineering school at the INSA of Toulouse in September 2005. Passionate about travel and ecology, they quickly set off on the road in a quest for meaning and purification. Two years later, they both have a project: Mouts travels across America for a year hitchhiking to meet the actors of tomorrow's world, and Nans goes to experiment alternative travel techniques by crossing the Atlantic in a hitchhiking sailboat and by crossing part of America by hitchhiking and by foot.

Upon returning from these trips in 2010, Mouts will write "EcoAmerica" for Géorama and Nans "La bible du grand voyageur" for Lonely Planet. At the same time, the two travelers put together their experience of wandering and meeting people and decided to go further in the stripping down and the trust in human beings: Naked and Sassy was born.

In 10 years, they made more than 40 documentary films about the experience of leaving naked and without money, with the encounter with the stranger at the heart of their experience. In 2020, in order to deepen the theme of wandering and wild life, they founded the magazine "la tribu du vivant" with their trapper friend Kim Pasche.
