Julien TOUZAINT
Producer at KESTU
Following audiovisual studies, Julien started his career in Paris as an editor and a cameraman for several TV companies. Since 2018 and the creation of Kestu, a production company he founded with friends, he has been working on documentary filmmaking. Between 2015 and 2020, he shot “Panorama", a documentar about the history of natural wine in France. This film triggered a true passion for wine and the way it is made.
Passionate about observational documentaries, Julien seeks to witness spontaneous moments of everyday life and deliver them to the spectator with an aesthetic and artistic approach. Les vignerons du vivant, in coproduction with France Télévisions, is his first film. He is currently writing his next project, a film about the young skipper Violette Dorange.
