Jérémy GOBE

Jérémy GOBE

Visual artist, founder and CEO of the Corail Artefact project

Jérémy Gobé's work is built around a central idea; as Auguste Rodin said: "an art that has life does not reproduce the past, it continues it".

He goes in search of objects without use and unshaped works, workers without works and materials without workers. Through his exhibitions in France (Palais de Tokyo, CENTQUATRE-Paris, Fondation Bullukian, etc.) and abroad (Bass Museum Miami, Hangzu China Museum, Shanghai Yuz Museum, etc.), his works impose a reconnection to the living; from ancient know-how that he declines, projects, and transforms, Jérémy Gobé proposes to us, through the imagination, to reflect on solutions likely to respond to contemporary problems.

More recently, concretely, he created in 2017 Coral Artefact, an art, science, industry, education project to save the coral reefs.
