Jean-Philippe MOINET
Founder and director of La Revue Civique
After graduating from Sciences Po Paris and studying public law at the Panthéon-Sorbonne, Jean-Philippe Moinet was awarded a prize by the Fondation Communication Demain. He was a journalist at Le Figaro from 1987 to 1998 under the direction of Franz-Olivier Giesbert in the political department and then in culture as a senior reporter. He followed the elections as well as the major institutions. He was then an editorialist, producer and host of several programs at La Chaîne Parlementaire (LCP) until 2002.
President and founder of the Observatory of Extremism (1995), he was also Advisor to the Mediator of the Republic and then Secretary General of the High Council for Integration from 2003 to 2006. He is the author of official reports and reference studies, including "Interculturality and Islam: ambiguities and the need for initiatives". Author of books as well as numerous press articles and columns, he founded in 2009 a university master's degree and in 2007 La Revue Civique.
In 2015, he completed his experience as Director of Consulting at the Viavoice Institute. There he initiated and piloted the Observatory of Democracy. He is also available to animate and co-construct round table debates, pilot studies (especially opinion polls) and accompany publishing content with meaning.
