From the hydro-meteorology of diluvian phenomena to the human organization in crisis management, Dr. Emma Haziza is a specialist in the resilience of territories to extreme climate risks.
A graduate of the Ecole des Mines, Emma Haziza has developed preventive strategies and analyzes optimization levers to better cope with extreme droughts and flash floods.
Since 2003, she has taught vulnerability of territories in many engineering schools and universities. President of Mayane, an action-research center, Mayane Education, an association for raising awareness of climate issues in schools, and Mayane Labs, a start-up aimed at massifying the climate transition that she has just co-founded, she is currently one of the most sought-after voices on the issue of water in France and around the world, in all media.
