Adrien COURET
CEO of Aéma Groupe
Adrien Couret is a graduate of HEC Paris and a fellow of the French Institute of Actuaries. From 2008 on, he has held successive executive roles amongst the mutual insurance company Macif as Chief of Staff to the CEO, Deputy CEO in charge of Strategy and Transformation, Deputy CEO in charge of Life and Health Insurance. He was named Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Macif in 2019.
That same year, he became Vice-Chairman of the Association des Assureurs Mutualistes (AAM). In 2020 , he took on the chairmanship of OFI Asset Management, and became Board Member of the tier-1 reinsurer SCOR.
Since January 2021, Adrien Couret is the first CEO of Aéma Groupe, born from the union of two companies : Aesio Mutuelle and Macif. With the acquisition of Abeille Assurances (formerly Aviva France) in october 2021, Aéma Groupe is now the 5th largest insurance company in France. With more than 11 million policyholders, it employs more than18,000 people and generates 16 billion euros of premiums
