38. - Young people actively engaging in changing the world

Saturday, November 26 • 11h30 > 13h00

The Earth University will host the 29 winners of the contest Déclics jeunes de la Fondation de France, for the award ceremony. The 2022 edition of the contest has chosen three axes of transition, in line with the theme of the University of the Earth: ecology, solidarity and digital.

This competition is open to all young people between 18 and 30 years old who have a project of general interest that is close to their hearts. In its deliberations, the Foundation's jury, chaired this year by Olympic boxing champion Sarah Ourahmoune, values a variety of profiles. This session will be an important moment to describe and understand the commitment of young people. Political scientist Jérôme Fourquet will comment on the results of a groundbreaking study on youth engagement. This commitment is growing and is a determining factor for the future and our civilizational choices.
