For the "Day of violence against women", November 25, the University of the Earth with the RAJA Foundation wants to participate in building a better world for women and more broadly for Life. One woman in three suffers some form of violence in her lifetime. In the world, this represents more than one billion women.
Violence against women and girls is a calamity rooted in the patriarchal structures of societies, and its extent is still underestimated. It knows no geographical or cultural boundaries, and takes many different forms: domestic violence, sexual harassment, early or forced marriage, honor crimes, genital mutilation...
Everywhere in the world, women and not enough men are mobilizing to fight against male domination. France is lagging behind in this field. We want to bring together all those who, on November 25 and every day of the year, want this to change and take decisive decisions for a change of civilization and a new humanism.
